A new venture, or a new adventure?

As the date nears for my grand opening, I find myself getting more and more excited - and yet more and more nervous. Although I've been reassured that my work is good, I have seen so much beautiful yarn and woollies just sit on Hyena Cart; I'm worried I will join those ranks.

What is it that makes some fiber artists and knitters so highly stalked, while others are passed over? I don't know that I've figured that one out yet, so I hope I'm not setting myself up for failure.

Enough about my doubts! I am going to try to stay positive; after all, I'm doing this for the love of the art, not to make a profit (as any knitter or dyer will tell you, we're quite under paid, despite the high price tag).

I guess what I hope to accomplish with this blog is to share my thoughts about colorways, patterns, finished objects - all things yarn/fiber/knitting related; hopefully I'll have a follower or two who will be willing to share their thoughts with me too!
